Pricing structure and Consultations:


Prices vary depending on the experience of the stylists providing the service, please ask for details when scheduling your appointment. We feel confident in recommending all of our stylists regardless of price.


Service Menu prices are base prices.  Services vary in price depending on the length of hair, the thickness of hair, the time required, and the products involved.


Your stylist will inform you of the price before they begin your service. Feel free to ask your stylist if you are unsure how our pricing structure works, or schedule a complimentary consultation and we will asses your needs.
Please book a free 15-20 minute consultation for more detailed pricing. They are highly recommended for first-time clients and chemical services. Consultations are mandatory for wedding/events and extension services. During the consultation, should there be any previous over-processing due to prior chemical services, heat damage, or any other issues with your hair that may affect the outcome of your hair service, you will be made aware before your service starts. Your stylist will inform you of the price before they begin your service. 


Payment for salon services is expected to be paid upon completion of the service. 


All stylists are subject to change in pricing every year in October, based on performance and education.
Enjoy one complimentary bang trim between hair services with your specific stylist only. Bangs trims without an existing appointment are subject to pricing upon stylist.


Satisfaction Policy:


We do not issue refunds on salon services. However, should you have any questions or concerns about the service you have received in the salon, please notify us within 4 days of your service via email at 
(and include pictures if possible) or come into the salon so we can inspect the concerns in person. We will happily do our best to better meet your expectations by scheduling you a complimentary appointment to address your concerns with the stylist who performed the initial service, or with another stylist if needed, at no additional charge to you.


Cancellation Policy:

As a courtesy to Salt+Waves Salon and our staff, we respectfully request a 24-hour advanced cancellation notice, and all stylist require a credit card on file to secure your appointment. There will be a 25% charge if you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hrs of your scheduled appointment. If you no show your appointment there will be a 50% charge. The decision to charge is solely decided by the stylist you are booked with. 

*The stylists notated below personally choose to have a 48-hour cancellation policy. These stylist charge 25% if you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 48 hrs of your scheduled appointment. If you no show your appointment there will be a 50% charge. Stylists who have a 48 hour cancellation policy are: Julia Filimon, Kendall Barclay, Tiffany Francis, Katie Davis, Hope Bell, Kyle Blastad, and Lydya Finley*

Every appointment is reserved especially for you! Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 96 hours and reminded 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.

Child/Accompany Policy:

Salt+Waves is dedicated to giving our clients an exceptional experience when receiving a service from one of our stylists. In order to provide the very best service to our clientele, no children under the age of 12 may accompany a client to the salon unless a service is being performed on the child themselves. If anyone under the age of 12 accompanies a client to their appointment, the client will be required to reschedule their appointment.

Product Policy:


If you are unhappy with any product purchased, we will allow you to substitute for another product of equal or lesser value as long as the product is 75% or more unused and more than 30 days have not passed from the date of purchase.

Service Charge:

What is the $10.00 service charge?


Some clients ask us about our "service charge" that you will see on your invoice. Sometimes it raises eyebrows, but it is there to create transparency in our pricing system. This charge was created by evaluating operational costs and inflation costs incurred while executing chemical and extension services. We use high-end color, straightening systems, and extension hair/products, which are of the most expensive professional lines available. This service charge is solely for chemical and extension services, not for any haircut services. It also allows us to continue to provide an elevated inclusive customer experience such as aromatherapy, hand massages, and an array of adult beverages, etc. All salons need to cover their operational costs. Either they hide it in the total costs, charge it back to the stylist, or can be transparent and itemize it like we have attempted to do.
